Just 2.5 hours from Seattle, La Casita is built for working remotely, unwinding fully, and enjoying the best of the Yakima Valley
La Casita is our quiet Yakima Valley home base—the kind of place that makes you slow down without asking permission. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a dedicated home office (actual door, real desk, no kitchen-table Zoom calls), and yes, a Peloton, because balance is important and so is guilt after good wine. Out back, the deck overlooks pear and cherry orchards, which is both incredibly peaceful and a constant reminder that you are not, in fact, on a screen saver.
Located in Zillah, the house works equally well for focused workdays, long weekends, or a reset that involves coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon. It’s comfortable, functional, and intentionally not fussy—designed for people who want space to think, move, and relax. If you’re looking for a Yakima Valley stay that feels like a home (not a themed rental), this is it.
With views of Mt. Adams and Mt. Ranier, La Casita includes a ping pong table, bocce ball, cornhole, and a variety of other games and opportunities for fun and relaxation.
